I welcome you to Pendyrus Male Choir. I trust that there will be an
opportunity for your association and the choir to work together.
An association with the Pendyrus Male Choir would be a means of bringing
your corporate name, image and product before a wider audience in the
venue of your choice in a unique way.
Music is a powerful emotional trigger and can be used effectively
in image building, as well as providing direct contact through the
audience with potential clients across the wide social spectrum.
Becoming a chorister is a route that may not be for you. However, as a
Friend of the Choir, you will have a direct link with the choir with the
full knowledge that you are helping Pendyrus who have a passion to
perform and are justly proud to besinging since 1924
Sincerely
Creighton Lewis
Chairman

For YOU it's a simple step to experience a wonderful world where your feet will tap and toes will tingle. We welcome new people and experienced choristers contemplating re-joining a good choir.

Contact John Lewis - details are below - or any member of the choir who will only be too
happy to introduce you to the choir. When you visit you will
experience the sound that will make the hairs stand up on
the back of your neck; as a member you will help gladden the
hearts of many an audience; you will experience the bringing
of tears to many an audience and all this will help fill the
coffers of many charities! You will meet new faces,
people who are friendly and sociable and the choir will
enable you to grace platforms and visit places otherwise
remain outside the normal way of life. What more is there to say!
The "WOW" factor in Pendyrus will dramatically
change your life style. The choir is offering a unique
opportunity to make a difference to your way of life; come
and listen while the choir rehearses new and established
pieces of music. As a budding troubadour, you will discover
how light and shade, soft and loud singing creates musical magic.
The skill of the chorister is producing a good sound
and at the same time blending with fellow choristers by
being a part of a team. The ability to read music is
desirable but not a pre-requisite, but the ability to listen
is paramount. Don’t worry you are not expected to be a
soloist! Come to a rehearsal and not just sit on the
sidelines but join in whilst the choir goes through its
routine under the leadership of our Musical Director John
Samuel and the fine accompaniment of Gavin Parry. You will
learn and develop your skills as a chorister under the
guidance of John Samuel. Experiencing the Pendyrus “WOW” factor night may
well tempt you. Now is the time to make the phone call.
