Choir gave its first performance for the The Stroke Association in
the Memorial Hall Barry
The choir are busy making a new recording that will be released at the end of May 2007 in readiness for the Canadian Tour in June

Grammy winner Rebecca Returns to
Sing
with Pendyrus in May 2008
Super star Rebecca
who won her coveted gong in the Best Opera Recording category at the Grammys
in LA on the weekend Wales beat Scotland knows exactly where this musical
Oscar will be displayed – in eight-year-old son William’s bedroom in
Penarth. Nevertheless, Rebecca will again be delighting the audience in
Tylorstown.
Now in its 4th year, the Rhondda Fach Gala concert has
become an established
event in the Choral/Operatic calendar throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf County
Borough, attracting international superstars the like of Katherine Jenkins
2005, Rebecca Evans 2006 and Shân Cothi 2007. Following her sensational
performance at Tylorstown in 2006, and after a world tour during 2007,
Rebecca Evans has been released by Welsh National Opera for a one off
performance at next years concert which takes place on Friday May 9th.

Since releasing the date, tickets are already in demand, but will go
on sale to the general public on Wednesday January 9th. However, people
